The third painting in the Sonoran Son Collection. Sonoran Son III shows the Deer Danser tried and anguished. In the wild deer posses an incredible will to live. In this painting, the Dancer/Deer has evaded the hunters and is hiding in the canyon. Just another page in the book of life in an attempt to live another day.
About Emanuel Alvarez Valencia
Emanuel Alvarez Valencia was born in Zamora Michoacán México1981. He immigrated to the United States of America at the tender age of four. He grew up in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, where he attended high school & College. Emanuel Alvarez Valencia joined the US Army after the attacks on 9-11, where he remained for nearly two decades. Emanuel Alvarez Valencia achieved numerous titles and awards during his military career. He is a highly decorated Veteran, having earned twenty-two Medals in his career. Unfortunately, while on a combat deployment, he was wounded by the enemy sustaining injuries that ended his military career. Happy to have had the opportunity to serve. Emanuel Alvarez Valencia is now dedicating the next chapter...
